Troubleshooting Guide

Problem Solution

Check to make sure the power transformer is plugged

in properly.

Red LED is not

illuminated

Replace power transformer.

Make sure the Triplex is showing the text box on

Monitor A.

Dip switch setting should be SW1: ON ON OFF ON

Check that the serial cable is plugged into Port

RS232/2 on the Triplex and Port 1 of the PB3 with the

RJ45 to RJ45 cable (4310-0034B).

Ensure the baud rate for Port 2 (RS232) on the Triplex

is set to 19200 bps.

Cannot display

Ensure camera addresses are set correctly.

Cannot connect

with HyperTerminal

Check cable connection.

Ensure the computers com port is enabled in the

system bios and Windows control panel.

Verify HyperTerminal’s communication settings are

19200, 8, N, 1, no flow control.
