Replacinq the liqht bulb.

Cooktop Light/Nite Light

Replacewith a 120 volt, 25 or 50 watt (max.)

halogen bulb. Order WB36X10213from your

GEsupplier.

M Toreplace the cooktop light/nite light, first

disconnect the power at the mainfuse or

circuit breaker panel,or pullthe plug.

I_ Removethe screw from the sideof the

light compartment cover and lower the

cover until it stops.

_1 Besure the bulb iscool before removing.

Break the adhesive seal bygently

unscrewing the bulb.

I_1 Screw in the new bulb, then raise the light

cover and replace the screw. Connect

electrical power to the oven.

About the exhaust feature.

Charcoalfilter(onsomemodels).

Vent Fan

filters.

Modelsthat recirculate air back into the room

also usea charcoal filter.

Reusable Vent Filters

The metal filters trap grease releasedby foods

on the cooktop. They also prevent flames from

foods on the cooktop from damaging the

inside ofthe oven.

Forthis reason,the filters must always be

in place when the hood is used.The vent

filters should be cleaned once a month, or as

needed
