About the operation of your freezer.

Key-Ejecting Lock (on some models)

The key for the spring-loaded lock is

automatically ejected—key will not

remain in lock in either the open or

closed position.

Keep the key out of reach of children and away from

the freezer.

Power-On Light (on some models)

The Power-On Light indicates that the

freezer is properly connected to the

electrical power.

The light glows even when the temperature

control is turned off.

FAST FREEZE (on some models)

FAST FREEZE allows the compressor to

run full time so the freezer can reach low

temperatures in the shortest time possible.

Use this feature when adding a substantial

amount of unfrozen food to the freezer.

When the FAST FREEZE switch is in the

ON position, the switch lights up.

Be sure to set a kitchen timer when using

FAST FREEZE to remind you to check the

freezer. Turn the switch to the OFF position

when the temperature reaches freezing

temperatures.

NOTE: Generally, turn the switch to the OFF position

after 24 hours. Allowing FAST FREEZE to run for an

excessive length of time will cause food to become

hard (too cold).
